Wilderness is an 85-inch square quilt featuring The Great Outdoors collection. Four wildlife scenes from a printed panel are framed and combined with five pieced blocks in a three-by-three center. The pieced blocks use squares, triangles and surrounding strips to connect the framed scenes within the layout. Three borders surround the center, carrying the collection's prints to the edges of the top before the quilt is layered, quilted and bound.

- Fussy-cut the four wildlife scenes and cut the pieces for their frames, the pieced blocks, borders and binding.
- Frame the wildlife panels and make the five pieced blocks from their triangle units, squares and strips. Keep the fabric placements matched to the block diagrams.
- Arrange the framed panels and pieced blocks in the three-by-three layout. Join the rows and add the three borders.
- Layer the quilt top with batting and backing and quilt as desired. Prepare and attach the binding to finish.
