Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Worn and Loved II combines red and grey stars with a scrappy checkerboard background that continues through the blocks. Carolyn Goins’s design uses color placement to create a secondary circle effect across the quilt. Twenty blocks are arranged four across and five down, with a floral-stripe border finished at mitered corners. The quilt measures 67 by 81 inches and features Jeanne Horton’s Worn and Loved II collection.

Worn and Loved II Free Quilt Pattern by Carolyn Goins quilt pattern summary

  1. Draw the triangle template as directed and cut the star triangles and their background side pieces. Sew the matching pieces into the star-point units.
  2. Piece the colored four-patches for star centers and the light-and-colored four-patches for the background. Arrange these with the triangle units and sew each block in three rows.
  3. Alternate red and grey blocks in four columns and five rows. Join the rows, add the floral-stripe border and miter its corners, then baste, quilt and bind.
