Zoo Free Quilt Pattern by Heidi Pridemore
Zoo uses animals cut from the Animal ABC panel in a 64-by-80-inch quilt designed by Heidi Pridemore. Each animal is fused onto a fabric background and secured around its edges, then surrounded by coordinating rectangles and strips. Twelve framed animal blocks form the quilt’s main layout, with sashing separating the rows and columns. The combination of animal shapes, checks, dots and striped prints is enclosed by an alphabet-print outer border before the quilt is layered and bound.
